Situated close to the village of Thursley, between Hindhead and Milford in Guildford in Surrey, set back from the A3, the park benefits from the local shops and services found in the nearby centres of Milford and Hindhead. There is a bus service from outside the park linked to Godalming, 4 miles away, and Guildford, 10 miles away.

Communications are extremely good with direct access to the park off the A3 trunk route between London and Portsmouth. Central London is approximately 40 miles and the M25 London orbital route is approximately 18 miles to the North-east via the A3 dual carriageway.
